Interim WSU Pres. Dan Bernardo talks Dr. Floyd, what’s next
SEATTLE – Dan Bernardo sits at the WSU offices in Downtown Seattle and can’t help but reflect on the past few weeks.
“It’s been a whirlwind obviously, after President Floyd’s death,” says Bernardo, who began serving as interim president after Floyd passed away on June 20.
“I tell people I’m a cancer survivor. I’ve been through the chemo the radiation, the disease itself. I know how difficult that is to deal with on a day to day basis,” says Bernardo. “He was a warrior literally – dealing with the disease treatment and pressing forward with what he was trying to accomplish at WSU.”…read more at King 5 News
