Everett Mayor recognizes WSU Everett as key partner
EVERETT, Wash. – Jan. 16, 2020 – Mayor Cassie Franklin recognized WSU Everett as a key partner in the City of Everett’s success now and into the future during her State of Everett address.
“We are also continuing our collaborations within our education community. We have excellent public schools and top-notch higher education institutions,” Mayor Franklin said. “That includes WSU Everett which continues to boost enrollment and attract even more students. Their engineering and medical program are growing, offering important opportunities and building the future workforce our employers need to remain world leaders in aerospace, health care and other STEM-related industries.”
She continued, “I’d like to thank Chancellor Dr. Paul Pitre for continuing to expand such quality higher education options in Everett.”
