WSU students and employees have access to a number of support and reporting options. The below list includes a brief description of the relevant offices and agencies. Several of the below resources are available to students across the WSU system. Where a resource is site-specific, it is identified as such. Finally, students at WSU research and extension sites are considered Pullman students and have access to all Pullman and system resources.

WSU Compliance and Civil Rights (CCR) CCR is WSU’s central intake and referral office for reports or complaints of discrimination, discriminatory harassment, sexual harassment, and sexual misconduct from students, staff, faculty, and visitors. CCR also provides training and technical guidance on civil rights, health sciences and privacy laws, ethics, equal employment opportunity, protected speech, Title IX, Clery Act, and ADA/Section 504.

The Center for Community Standards (CCS)
CCS supports individual and community wellbeing through student growth and accountability. CCS administers the community standards process, which upholds student rights and responsibilities and holds students and student organizations accountable for conduct that conflicts with community standards. CCS is also the central intake for reports of hazing and hazing related behavior in compliance with Washington Sam’s Law (RCW 28B.10.900) and the Stop Campus Hazing Act.

The Office of the Dean of Students are your partners in navigating the WSU experience. This might include working through a complex process, answering questions, or connecting students to a much-needed resource.

Student Care Network

The Student Care Network lets individuals share concerns about a student’s emotional or psychological well-being, physical health, or academic performance with university administrators who can help. Anyone — students, faculty, staff, family, or community members — may submit a referral, which the Office of the Dean of Students Student Care Case Management team reviews for follow up.

International Student Services provides orientation and mentorship programs for international students and helps students with maintaining their visa status.

Immigration Law Clinic – College of Law
Immigration Law Clinic represent client in immigration proceedings and provide legal consultations to members of the University of Idaho and Washington State University communities. Provides services related to adjustment of status, asylum applications, consular processing, deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA), employment authorization, family-based petitions, naturalization/citizenship, special immigrant juvenile status, T visas, temporary protected status (TPS), U visas, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions.

WSU Office of the Ombudsman
The primary purpose of the office is to protect the interests, rights, and privileges of students, staff, and faculty at all levels of university operations and programs. The ombudsman is designated by the university to function as an impartial and neutral resource to assist all members of the university community. The ombudsman provides information relating to university policies and procedures and facilitates the resolution of problems and grievances through informal investigation and mediation.

Office of Emergency Management (OEM)
OEM develops and administers a comprehensive emergency management program covering WSU Pullman, regional campuses, and research sites statewide, partnering with colleges, units, and federal/state/local jurisdictions to protect lives and safety, safeguard critical infrastructure and records, and resume operations after an incident.

WSU Everett Safety and Security has contracted with Everett Community College Safety and Security (EvCC Security) to provide Security on our Everett Campus. EvCC Security can request information from those agencies related to police investigations that impact WSU Everett. Law enforcement agencies may share information with WSU where it is legally permissible to do so.

In the evenings, WSU Everett campus security provides a limited escort program for students walking to or from the parking lot or bus stop. Students are asked to walk with others when possible and to choose paths that are well lit. EvCC campus security can also help students who have locked their keys in their car or need to jump start their car battery.
