Joe Soss, a faculty member in the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota, explores the interplay of democratic politics, societal inequalities, and public policy. He is especially interested in the sources and consequences of policies that shape life conditions for socially marginalized groups.
