LEARN MORE
COVID-19 had a big impact on the restaurant industry.
You can join an interdisciplinary team to help policymakers and restaurant owners understand how the industry changed.
Last year, a team of communication, hospitality, and software engineering students focused on building out an AWS Cloud data storage and security protocols. This year, we need you to take things a step further—pull the data and use Microsoft Power BI to create a web portal like the Washington State Covid-19 Data Dashboard.
Policymakers and restaurant owners need to see three different classes of restaurants, nine different geographical regions in the state, and nine different variables across ten years, with room to expand for another ten years. In addition to creating the web portal, your team will develop a narrative to explain and develop a public release plan for the data dashboard.
