NEW PROGRAMS. EXPANDED OPPORTUNITIES.

ASWSUE is here to serve students

A letter from ASWSUE President Hayley Statema:

ASWSUE Executive Board: Pedro Nunez, VP; Wendy Hughes, DOLA; Hayley Statema, President

The Associated Students of Washington State University Everett (ASWSUE) is the representative body of undergraduate, graduate and professional students at Washington State University North Puget Sound at Everett.

ASWSUE initiates and coordinates student activities, represents student interests, needs and welfare, as well as acting as a liaison between students and university faculty, staff and administration. ASWSUE is passionate about servant leadership. We are here to serve YOU!

This semester ASWSUE is working hard to plan more activities and establish a Cougar culture on the WSU North Puget Sound at Everett campus.

So far this year, we have hosted several on-campus events that students can look forward to again this semester, like Midterm Mornings and Don’t Be Dead Week. Off-campus affairs will include the Spring BBQ, Silvercup College Night, a night at Traxx Raceway in Mukilteo and so much more.

Events open up networking potential with alumni and other students that will prove valuable.

Open meetings take place every Wednesday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in Gray Wolf Hall 366 (unless otherwise specified). All students are invited to come learn how their S&A fees are used and how the student government works. You can also learn more on our webpage.

We also work with the Associated Students of Washington State University to lobby the Washington State Legislature on issues that support students at WSU and in Washington state.

Elections for the executive staff and senior senators are coming up in March, so make sure to get involved soon!

Go Cougs!

Hayley
